I dose a healthy amount of magnesium, iodine, kalk (via 2 x k2r kalk reactors), strontium, kent marine essential elements. The one I notice the most is the magnesium. After dosing it, the color of my acros really came out. I do 10% water changes with purchased water every 2 weeks and 50% every 1.5 months. Some might say that my dosing is a bit 'unnatural' but i do it because of the bio load in my tank. I have to change water quite frequently so the dosing supplements the natural levels that come from the break down of elements from live rock and live sand.
