Hi everyone,
This is my first time to this web site.
Well i just got a 2" kole tang and he keeps bothering my desera. He wont stop nipping it and i dont know what to do. I have been just hitting the glass when i seen him nipping. Should i take him out or will he eventually stop doing that.
I also just adding a couple of tomato clowns and i previously had a sixline in the tank. Well the tomatos and the sixline have been fight and well the sixline is missing part of his tail. I was told by the lfs to add the clowns in last. So do you think they will all mellow out or do i have to remove some fish?

I would love to help but i dont know the name desera. Do you know another name for it.
If all the fish you metioned is all the fish you have then should be fine in a 125g. But some fish just want play by the rules.

The kole keeps picking at my clam (Tridacnid desara). And the wrasse and the clowns have been fighting whenever the wrasse gets near their RBTA. The poor wrasse has had some of his tail nipped off.
The fish in the tank:
7" salfin tang
2" kole tang
3" tomato clowns (x2)
4" sixline wrasse
What should i do? I dont want to have to remove anything.

All types of fish have different personalities (even within the same species) but clowns are known for being very territorial and tomato clowns the most aggressive. Kole tangs are generally reef safe but you never know haw an individual will react. Whenever you get new fish you run the risk of adjustment problems. All new fish should monitored carefully.
Pounding on the glass is unlikely to change the behavior, it will only stress the fish. Your normally left with a choice of removing the fish causing problems or having territorial disputes. Most likely they will never learn to get along. I love clams but a lot of fish pick at the brightly colored mantals which will eventually lead to their death. Look at your tank as if its a house, a small house with no room for private space. More people living together=more dissagreements. I would see if your store would take back the fish your having problems with.
I had a 125 gal trigger tank previously and was always having problems with fighting. Thats the main reason I no longer have the aggressive tank.

Howdy neighbor.....
Some fish will simply stop tormenting/picking while others will continue. If he continues it means he likes it. Decide what you like best...remove the other(s)....or you will lose what you like best.
With fish tormenting another fish...sometimes they let up after they feel their message has been delivered.
