I dont know james...12 more of those might be too much, they appear to be quite bright. They are brighter than my 24 lights are. :notsure:

Wow, that looks just beautiful but it seems to me to be a bit bright for moon lights. It looks as if the actinics are on.

not trying to hijack...just wanted to show you mine so you could see what I meant in the last post. I agree with lion..12 more of those you have and you might as well leave on actinics...those are really bright moon lights..

Wow I see the difference, I have about 4' of height in my canopy.... Mabey I should raise them from 6" to 3 feet or so. :thinking: :thinking: :thinking:

I am not saying that they don't look good , cause they look great. Just maybe too bright to simulate moonlight. Raising them in canopy would probably be good idea. I just wanted to show you how much brighter yours were than mine...

I agree, I would definitely raise them. Your tank is certainly gorgeous, but they are a little too bright to be true moonlights.
