My 210 reef tank

Hi, My Name is Mike, I live on Long Island New York. I have been in the hobby for a couple of years now. I always enjoyed looking at and reading about all of your tanks. I have been learning so much from you all. I never really posted any pictures of any of my tanks, so I figured I would post some now before I do another upgrade
I built the stand and canopy myself. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy looking at all of your tanks. I will post some more pictures of the build soon.

Glad to see you back on here! I can't stand MR and only go there if I need to purchase something.
The tank is looking great! Where did you get the Borbonius anthias from and have you noticed any issues (good or bad) with them, I'm looking at doing a pair in my 180.

WOW.....Thank you so much for the very kind words, It really means alot, Thank you very much. I was always nervous to post pictures. I am not sure if I am going to do the upgrade or not, it would break my heart to break this tank down. But If and when I do, I was thinking of upgrading to an 840 gallon 10ft by 4ft by 30 tall. I have been slowly purchasing some equipment for the build (chiller, skimmer and such)
As for the equipment I am using now, My Lights are 250 watt MH Coralvue dimmable ballasts with reeflux 12k bulbs
I am using a custom dimmable Wingo LED system Red, Blue, royal blue and green for my actinics. They were made for the Profilux 3 controller
I have a GEO calcium reactor and 4 little fishes reactors for my phosban and carbon.
Custom king made me my sump custom for the tank
I had a JBJ 1/3 HP chiller, but just upgraded to a 1/2hp oceanic chiller
I am using 4) vortec MP 40 pumps
I am using the Profilux 3 as my controller. I just ordered 4) simu profilux LED sunrise/sunset,moon/storm lights to get the thunderstorm effect.
I installed 2 frag tanks in my filter room, plumbed in off the main tank to grow my frags in. I figured it would be easier to just worry about the main tank and let the main tank take care of my frag tanks. I am lighting it with 150 watt MH with T5's. I am almost finished with water change system. I have two 40 gallon water containers, one fresh water for my top off and the other with saltwater for my water changes. I have it plumbed so when I turn on one pump, it will pump out what ever amount of water I need out the back of my house. I then turn on the other pump to pump fresh saltwater back into the tank. I am trying to keep it as neat as possible (it keeps my wife happy) in return, no problem with having my tanks
I will get some more pictures of the equipment.

Hi BTLDreef, It is nice to hear from you again. Thank you very much for the kind words. I purchased the Borbonius Anthias from Mike in deer park. He is about 6 inch long. When I got him he was very shy, it took some work to get his to eat. He is now very happy and eats very well. I will post a picture on how I got him to come out of his shell

You have 2?!?
Damn.....
I'm looking at the two that Country Critters has had for over a year... they want $299 a piece, but I know they're adjusted to the warmer waters and eat already. I don't know...

I am not sure if country critters still have them, when is the last time you seen them there? My friend Dave bought one from them a couple of months ago, I really haven't seen any since. Mike at tropical Island has a very nice BA, I think he wants $200 for it. He is probably around 3 inches long. I purchased the second BA because he was much younger and always swimming freely. I was hoping he would coach out the larger Anthias and make him feel more at home, it was a little pricey but it worked

Mike, you need to hang out on this site more!
The two that CC has that I'm referring to are in their refugium hooked up to their main tank. They're currently listed as "Not for Sale" but I know Jonathan, so, anything is for sale, LOL. I know he still has them. He knows I want them as well, we'll figure it all out.
