As you know, I'm into tangs, but was kinda looking that way for a next addition, but you guys are scratching every one of them off the list one by one.
Where is the link to your tank T? Seems like you have quite a few SPS right? Unfortunately, it is horribly risky to add an angel to a full on reef set-up, it could be a disaster, I am just trying a few things for the hell of it.
BTW I just added a small lighting upgrade yesterday...I had 520 watts of PC, and added another 160 watts of t5, I am quite happy with the "pop" it added, the corals I do have seem pretty happy with the extra light too....I will try a few pics later.

but I don't think I have gotten to the point of mentioning my corals yet. I'm at a stall with the thread until I can get some more grow out and additions. But it's more of a mixed bag, mainly shrooms, zoos, leathers, things I don't even know what it is, etc. But on the fish side, there's room for more. I have been looking for color too, so Angels were interesting me, until I started reading here about their appetite.
I bet an extra 160 watts was a difference with your lights. Nice.

T, if you want to try a large angel, I would say stay from the 'big' large angels, emperor's, queen's, etc. Try for angels in either the Chaetodontoplus or Apolemichthys genera. They are going to be more pricey, and aren't quite as hardy, but most of them should be able to live their lives mostly reef safe. The only hitch is finding good/healthy specimens. Almost all fish take an incredible beating before they reach your tank, these angels, just don't take it very well. Goldflakes, Flagfin's, Singapore's, Cream's/Velvet, Personifer/Meredithi, Scribbled, or if you want to drop big $$, Conspic's
are some of the more hardy species. I would trust any of them with SPS or larger softies. Zoas and LPS seem like a risk with just about any cool fish though...
Of course, there are always the completely reef safe, Genicanthus angels...

The T5s make a great bit of coloration difference. I would add some Super Actinics (460mm) colors in there to make the purple on the fish and the coral pop!
