My 25gal Update

I have had this tank up for 2 months now and everything is working good. So I thought I would post some pictures.

I have 3 turbo snails, 2 hermit crabs 1 blue leg hermit, one blue crab, 1 clown fish, 1 yellow tail blue damsel, 1 3 stripe damsel, 1 lawnmower blennie, and one anemones. Everyone is getting along fine and all levels are good.

i would get rid of the domino damsel asap. They get big and very aggressive. replace it with another clown fish. Clowns IMO do better in pairs

Funny you should mention it but the domino was dead this morning.... no way to tell what happened my crab was feasting on him. I checked the levels and nitrate was 20ppm, nitrite was 0ppm, and ammonia was .25ppm. everyone else was fine no tail munching or anything. I just ordered the 3.36 upgrade for the lights... the anemone needs it.

Your tank is two months old and you have an anemone? What kind, if you don't mind me asking (looks like a condi to me), and what kind of lighting are you running now? Also, what's a 3.36? lol I could answer the question about the chalice (beautiful by the way!) if I knew what it was. X]
Also, was there any kind of ammonia in the tank before the damsel died? Any ammonia is bad ammonia, I'd suggust you do a water change to get rid of some of that before it hurts the rest of your livestock.
Beside the nem and the ammonia, everything looks very nice! Lots of diatoms, which is totally normal for a new tank. Mine's almost ten months old and I still have diatoms comming out of my ears. Your sand looks nicer than the walls though, do you stir your sand? I do, but mine still isn't that white. lol

fret the 3.36 is a mod for the nanocube or biocube i believe. from nanotuners or nanocustoms. they are to add more PC.
But IMHO i would get a sunpod 150w and you will be able to keep anything. trust me you would want to upgrade in a few months are so.

Yep did a water change tonight. The lighting is stock. the anemone was free when i bought the live rock on day 5 of the tank running with live sand only. I'm surprised it survived. the sunpod is way to expensive. I barely got the 3.36 nanotuners. I didn't mention the name as to not anger the moderators. the lawnmower is whats keeping the sand so clean. he is constantly eating and spitting it out cleaning it. and the 3 hermits are always diggin around. I don't know what kind of anemone it is.
