Well I am a new member here but a long time lurker. I figured I may as well join in on all the fun. There sure are some beautiful tanks on here and I hope you guys enjoy mine. I have had many tanks over the years but I would have to say that this is my first full blown reef.
A little info on my system. It's an established 29 gallon that has been set up for about 3.5 years now. It started as a FOWLR and the sadly went pretty neglected for a bit. I decided to get back into the hobby and resurrected the tank in December of 2006. I's been a reef since late Dec./Jan. and I am thoroughly enjoying the tank.

zman-thnx, I am quite pleased with the progress and now I am just sitting back and enjoying the show. The growth in my corals since I purchased them is amazing.
grabbit- That hammer is one of my favorite corals in the tank. It has become much more intensely neon and has almost tripled in size! And you're right, Gos bless actincs!! Actinic lighting really makes the colors pop and add a whole different dimension to the tank. Though I would like to go with a mixed Hqi+ T-5 combo in the future, these PCs are working great for now and I have seen nice growth with them, even with my Acros(they've not only kept thee color too but have become much more intense).
Mach-thanks a lot! I wouldn't say it puts your tank to shame at all. I just checked your thread out and your tank is very nice! I see that your clown took a liking to your brain coral as well! Mine defends his to the death lol. I can't put my hand near it with out him going crazy and biting me lol. The only thing I'm ready to frag is the GSP. I will keep you in mind but I have a lot of friends with reef tanks being started and I promised them I would help out with frags of my stuff to get them going. Though my zoos spread so fast that I'm sure I will have to frag them soon and could probably spare a few. If I wouldn't have gotten the zoa pox I would've been able to frag the already but sadly that disease claimed some of my colonies so now I'm rebuilding.
Thanks for the props everyone!

Thanks again everyone
triga-my sps currently consists of 2 montiporas and 2 Acroporas. I have an orange monti cap , a purple haze encrusting monti, and the acroporas I have no idea what specific type they are, lol. I originally thought they were a type of staghorn, but after doing some research I don't think is right. If anyone with knowledge of specific acros and can identify mine I would greatly appreciate it.
