Nice orange shoulder. I like them too, but haven't seen one yet in my area. I can always have them order it, but prefer to just wait for fate.
i will try 20 k all around next week i just bought another set of 20 k .and All of my bulb are fairly new so if i don't like the 20 k growth i will switch back to 10/20/10/20 or 10/14/10/14. i read in another forum that 20 k might give you the same growth as 10 k or even 6500

i had so many tangs in this tank. i think the orange shoulder have the best behavior but clown tang and powder blue are the worst. all i wanted was a schoal of 8 yellow tangs but all died but my original.i guess its a blessing now i have 6 different tangs but when i upgrade later i want a achiles tang

Went to the zoo 2 weeks ago, and saw multiple achile tangs that were gorgeous. Really want one for myself too, but like you, I'm waiting to upgrade first before moving forward with it.
I currently have 10k for better growth, but since I changed the tank to FOWLR, I'll probably swap out the 10k to 20k when time/money permits. I'm thinking 20k is for better visual agree?
Post some pics when you do all 20k next week.

i thought 10 k growth was faster but for what i have read it has too much red light and 20 k have more PUR( Photosynthetically Usable Radiation) not PAR(Photosynthetically Active Radiation)and 20 k looks so much better

go to e--y its cheap . i have coralvue,reeflux,xm,hamilton,sps and radium .i use a 14 k bulb from e--y the color is not the best but its very bright as bright as xm 10 k i am sure they have the same par or even better

i like the ---- 14k looks brighter than the the current xm 10 k but i don't run actinic so the coral color sucks and the 14k 400watts that i currently run still don't do justice for my sps.i will have all the bulbs next week and i will try to take picture on all kevins.

dude your tank is so sick. i was sooo close to getting a 300/stand/canopy combo off CL for 400 bucks... but sold it before i could get out to pick it up

i will sell this tank in few weeks. it has little bit of fine scratch but can be buffed out easy after removing from the wall.i getting a 96x36x27 (403)gallon starphire tank soon.

there is no way i can catch it without destroying my tank.the acropora was not doing so good to begin with but the one of the flame angel is nipping it constantly. what can i do? i am month from getting a new tank.
