Everything looks really good. Except that the catalina goby is a coldwater fish and needs temperatures from around 68-72 degrees, and will not thrive in a tropical reef tank.

Yeah i know i was told this after i bought the catalina Goby i have dropped the temp in the tank a bit which i have been told is fine with all the other fish and will let the catalina Goby survive,

it is the pink and purple blotches you get on the live rock and glass over time as the tank matures, it is benificial and looks great but urchins are known to eat it and you do want it to grow, it has to do with calcium levels as well if your calcium is good then it will grow faster.
