yeah im happy they are open. still hit or miss, some days they look great others i wish they had stayed closed because they look not happy.
Funny thing, i went into my lfs aquarium concepts and they wanted 20$ a polyp for a rock that had tubb blues and some green zoa. Would cost like 400$ i was like O_O
yeah haha but they are "ultra rare zoa" it was basically an epic facepalm. Im just happy they are finally starting to carry some decent looking zoas they ususally only have huge ass pieces of EVERYTHING but zoas. Its nice that i get to look at stuff that might fit in my 5.5gallon. I almost bought a black stripe hi fin goby today. He was itty bitty but still 20$. Im waiting until christmas to see if i get a gift certificate from my parents then ill go buy him. Im getting bored of the tank and need something newwww, been pondering a duncan frag they have had in there the last month of so with a larger colony. maybe ill buy that
damn, id never pay that much for zoas, imo all zoas are overpriced unless you get a killer deal for a large colony, because there so small, id rather get some rics or lps corals BTJM.

yeah i feel kinda the same but with a small tank like this they look a lot bigger to me so i dont mind paying a little bit more for them. Plus since they are small i can get a lot more of them in there.
YES NEW LIGHTS CAME TODAY FOR CHRISTMAS : D EPIC WIN...i got the nova extreme 18" 2x18 watt lights. Nothing fancy they were like 50$ but for my tank im happy.
Now for todays epic fail! The lights are broken!!! WOOOT WOOT
The ballast is messed up and the socket seems to be broken so i need to send them back, of course the store is closed until monday >.< Oh well i still got the lights and im happy
>.< i know 1 green clown goby is still kinda pushing it in a tank this small but i had to do it and bought a hi fin red stripe goby today. Last fish for sure in this tank. I wanna move up to a 10gallon but i dont know if i will or not. Nitrates have been at 0 since adding chaeto and i am religious with water changes, havent missed one yet once a week 1 gallon. I will be monitoring my nitrates for the next couple weeks to make sure everything is cool. Im exited too because it was $17.99 for the fish but the girl messed up and i got it for $6.80
grrr hi fin is MIA since 8pm last night. Its not a big tank and its 80% covered sooo i dont think he jumped but theres lots of cracks so he might be hiding. Im nervous

they do that... give it at least a week before you pronounce him dead..lol..
tank looks great, good size for college thats why I am getting one come this up coming summer.
ya its only a 5.5 gallon tank, just give him some time and check all around the tank on the floor and stuff see if you see him.
i wasnt too worried just kinda annoyed that i couldnt see him.
I found him though, of course he had to hide in the back of the tank where i cant see him unless i look from the side between the heater and a rock...little bugger. Ill give him time, im sure he'll be like my green clown and become more sociable with time. Hes so cute
i know, ive been looking for one for a while now because i dont wanna order online. One of these days ill find it.
Next goal, get the hi fin eating before i leave for tahoe on tuesday until saturday. The tank can go 3 days without food but id feel better if they started that 3 days as i fed them walking out the door tuesday
I got an email from the people i bought the lights from...apparently you are supposed to turn the bulb when you put them in which i didnt know because it didnt say to do that and ive never had a fixture like this before. I did that and wow the tank looks AMAZING. Such a huge difference in color from everything. I cant wait to see how it looks once everything starts to get closer to the color it used to be. SO HAPPPPY
