My 5 Gallon!

Hey guys...I just wanted to finally post some pictures of my 5 gallon bowfront. I just put some new corals in (mushrooms and sun coral) and need some suggestions on arranging everything. I can pretty much move everything except the Xenia...he's attached himself to the rock and is moving up. The sun coral is so big though and takes up so much space!! And that oddly placed rock in the front has yellow polyps on it...I hope they spread quickly! Any thoughts??? P.S. Sorry about the picture quality...I need to get my better camera working!

I actually have a High-Fin red banded Goby in there...he's only about an inch long, so he's kinda hard to see. But thanks for the comments guys! :)

Camelback actually...he's great, except lately he's taken an interest in my yellow polyps. :nervous: And I love the sun coral...I don't even mind that he's nocturnal because his exoskeleton is so pretty. It gets a little tiresome having to wait and monitor when he expands at night, so I can feed him...but it's worth it!

A solid blue background is a great idea! And yes, that is one solid rock! I couldn't pass it up when I found it. It is a little difficult to attach corals, however, because there aren't any nooks and crannies to simply "place" them in...I have to attach them with epoxy or glue. As for lighting, I have a 20 watt power compact for right now. Everything is growing so quickly...so it must be doing the trick! Luckily I'm upgrading to a 90 gallon soon. So really this tank is only temporary and to bide my time. I can't wait to set up my tank with some MH lighting...woohoo! :)

Yes, the bulb is a 50/50 and I got it from a LFS. But I know they carry them online as well...I think Coralife makes the bulb.

i got a glimpse of those 20 watts finally today at a big fancy lfs lol. Those things are intense! Looks as though 2 of them will do the trick in my 10 gallon...all i need now is 35-40 bucks to buy them...not to mention the patience to drive the 30-45 minutes through Houston traffic to get there again.
