Hi,
In my fish only tank i have got:
1 powder blue surgeon
1 yellow tang
1 maroon clown
1 coral beauty
1 cleaner wrass
and this as been setup for 1 3/4 years!
all of my readings are great and all the fish are alive and well.
None of the tangs have ever had any problem in the tank never caught ich so there is no problem with the fish in my 50 gallon tank.
All the fish get on well with each other even the 2 tangs!
There is plenty of room in a 50 gallon tank i do not see the need of a 75 gallon tank minimum for tangs they are fine were they are!
The lfs store said that they would all be ok and i know they are saying things to sell u the products to make extra money but they are right they are good!
ThAnKs!

Many people here on this board will harshly disagree with you for putting those fish in that tank. I personally agree with you that it can be done. I had a niger trigger and an atlantic blue tang, and a coral beauty all in a 40 and I was told i was crazy. The fish in your tank have the potential of growing large and keeping them in that tank will inhibit that growth but I have 3 tangs and 3 angels together in a 70 with no problems either. Good LUck!

This is the last time I will reply to you Sven...you are obviously just trying to get people riled up. I wonder if you have these fish at all. If you do, you have chosen to avoid the advice of knowledgeable marine aquarists everywhere. Just because they're alive doesn't mean what you've done is OK. Don't be a moron, educate yourself and take the advice of the people who treat their fish well.

SVEn,
What filtration method are you using? Is it easy it maintain and how often do you do water changes?
I'm curious because I always like to hear from hoobyists who aren't having problems to try to learn from their successes.
