yeah they are pretty awesome, also just so you know the tank has been up for almost a year including the cycle. Not the 4 monts like stated on the title. I just haven't updated in a long time.
yeah I already went through my cycle with new live sand and 50#'s of live rock. It has been cycling for almost 2 months. I just want to be safe and I am slowly going to move all my rock coral and fish over slowly. I will prolly start all this next weekend because I am working all this weekend.
yeah thats kool i switched from a 55 to a 120 recently but i wasn't up and cycled and had to use all my lr,ls and water from the 55 but it went well didn't lose a fish!
awesome. Yeah my 110 is set up at my other house. I live in military housing and I am getting married in April so I am moving out of single person housing( means you hve a roommate) into a house just for me and my wife. I have the tank set up there already. Luckily it is only right down the road so it wont be bad.
not really the only thing I dose with is tropic marine bio-calcium when my calcium gets a little low, but that is all. it just takes time in my opinion
thanks, I came into this hobby knowing nothing then after about a month of researching and reading threads on here I decided to go for it, and I couldn't be happier.
Same here. I had freshwater for my first 20+ years and now into saltwater the past 2+. Slowing upgrading my tank. Just installed my first sump. Didn't have the money before. It is not fun once the tank is already in place
Long time since I have looked at this thread....looking GREAT!
Q: The big colony of purple zoas with blue centers in your tank...was there a name attached to those when you bought them? I have a colony similar and have never found a name...
