Looks great. I just moved from a 29g into a 55 as well. I was thinking I need to set up my sump like yours to get some algea growing.

Ignore them and the tang police. As long as you don't keep that yellow tang in there forever, you are fine. When it grows too big, it should probably go to a bigger tank. Welcome to the board! The tank is nice!

I think it looks pretty good! I'm not a fan of pictures for background (I like a solid blue or black), but really cool overall. Is that a real clam to the left? If so, he's a good size!

Nice tank! Could you please give some details on your sump system? Is that an algae light in the middle part? Also, what type of lighting and how often do you need to run the chiller? Sorry for so many questions-I am in the middle of going reef from FOWLR on my 55. That is a big clam!

that is a algea light on the sump and its 2 24" marine glow bulbs but i am going to change them to plant grow bulbs. the chiller has a thermostat that i have set at 78. and it also has a plugin for a heater, if the temp goes to 79the chiller comes on, if the temp drops to 77 the heater comes on. my tank stays between 78 and 79.

I like your tank It looks real nice. But I do not care for that stand. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy Mine.

I'm getting inspired now looking at your tank!
Has your anenome hosted your clown? That's one of the first new critters I will be getting for my tank and it's pair of maroon clowns.
