I think I have 1 emerald crab left. I want to get so really bright colored fish. My hermit crabs a too small to do any damage. I did get rid of my larger hermit crabs a while ago they were causing havoc.

Hermits are good to have as a clean up crew. They keep the sand bed clean.

Hey, I have the same tank as you. You have a small angel, so you cant get another. You should've gone with a better angel than the one you have, that way you could've had a flame or a Lemon peel. O well. Yellow Tangs are very nice additions. They are pretty, easy to care for, great looking and hardy enough. The angel and tang would slap tails for a day or two, but most fis will. Damsels are usually a nusiance. They are not big fish, but they will slowly pick and nip at fish until they die. I agree with the other people, Royal Grammas are good fish. They are colorful, also easy to care and leave other fish alone, but only ONE per tank. A nice butterfly would do great too if you have good water quality. If you dont have corals but you have good waterm definitely get yourself a butterfly. Also, to control algae and add life to the tank, a Lawnmower or "algae Blenny" would do nicely. They eat your algae, have great personality and are cool fish. It would do good to get the tang and the lawnmower, that way you can feed them both algae at the same time. (tangs LOVE algae). I recommend sheets that you can get at the store. Any more questions, feel free to email me.

Hermit crabs are harmless to your fish. They might kill other hermits or snails if they arent supplied with bigger shells to take as they grow bigger, but wont attack fish. If they get really big, then I would worry about them eating fish.
Here is one that I would be worried about.

yeah that was about the size of the two that I had. I got rid of them about 2 months ago sold them back to the LFS for a bunch of snails smaller hermits and some emeralds
