My 55 gallon at around 4 monthes old

very nice rock work, my tank looks almost fake in comparison. I have 2 huge rocks with some little one scattered about.

There are about 5 more pcs of rock that are in my tank now that aren't in that pic. This pic is a month old or more.

Here are some updates. I have added a Orange Derasa clam, Fire shrimp, and 3 blue/green chromis. I think they really livened up the tank. Check it out, let me know what you think.

Wow, I really like the color of your zoos! How do your shrimp interact with each other (I was thinking of getting a fire shrimp and I already have a cleaner)?

They are fine. they hardly even ever cross paths. However the fire shrimp is kinda boring he just sits in the same spot usually. The cleaner is always all over the place

Thanks everyone. I really havent had any problems yet besides a pretty bad algae problem but thats all cleared up now. I have 285 watts of VHOs. Evertything seems to be doing ok except the brain. I moved it up higher today so ill see if it comes around. it just hasnt been opening fully. But everything else is good.

that coral is a sun coral. i got it at my LFS. It was like 40 bucks

i really dont know. my parents had this tank set up about 5 years ago and it crashed shortly after and it was sitting in our garage until i decided to give it another go. but getting it up and running again was pretty expensive, at least for me im just a college kid.
