My 55 reef.....Pictures

Well guys this is what my tank looks like now.
I am currently trying to net one camel back that I found munching a coral last night so by tomorrow it will be a whole new thing.

My catalina goby on the left (red with blue)
and my psychedelic mandarine. (Psycho)

This is a shot of the whole tank..I tried to get the flash out of the picture..oh well

This is another tank shot...For those of you debating on Black background vs Blue ...Here is what it looks like

Very nice.......hope mine gets to that point...if it does...I'll learn to post pics too......bummer ya gotta get the camel back out....hope it don't mess things up too much

Great looking tank. In pic 3, what is the red coral at the right? NEAT....
When did you start your tank?

The coral on the right is a sponge.
I started my reef last year.....it has been a work in progress.

I got the sponge from a store in our area Coral Boyz in Kalamazoo... They carry great stuff that is always healthy.

Now if I can JUST stop drooling on my keypad. Don't want to get electrocuted via a drool stream. Would be a poor way to go out.
I'd rather get fried by my tank. Anyways... I'm rambling.

how did you catch him?! hey, what kind of coral was he munchin? nice pics too....what other food do the camel-back shrimp eat?

I'm pretty sure that shrimp will eat just about anything I put in the tank.That is if he makes it through the night.Both my juvi Emporer and Panther Grouper are looking REALLY interested in him.BY THE WAY, for those of you who don't know,I'm Kimmisues brother.So the rouge shrimp is in MY TANK.

Your right I was able to get alot of pipe organ coral to use as my base rock in the tank.

The shrimp was eating a brain coral... I was told they eat soft corals I said no mine hasn't bothered anything ....then I found him munching..so much for that.

Thats what I thought, I am going to look for some of that ,it really stands out and looks good and gives some nice color, Great tank. cya
