Thought I would share some pics of my little project.
I still have some touch up to do.
My cousin gave me the rough cut red oak that he cut off his land.

Pic are just to show the removable center trim.
I did it that way so all the doors are the same size and I can still be able to get at the plumbing.

what about two center braces for the top where the tank will sit...this will help even out weight distribution on the tank and stand

Don't need them it's only 4 foot long. The pound per square inch on a 75G is low.The oak trim on the frame also acts as a T brace (dove tail). Even this stand is over kill Just because 2x4's are the cheapest way to go.

It's gonna look even better when you get that sump in there and everything plumbed!! C'mon, lets go get the sand today! Lets order the lights and LR!!!!!

nice job, I agree about the center brace, a 2X4 on end will support alot more than it would appear to (over 1000 lbs) I built a similar 2X4 stand minus the trim for my 220 in wall, and it is still perfectly level after a year.
