Blue Wave Dual 7 250 MH ballast
1/4 HP Chiller with alarm
R/O Top off system with a 5 1/2 gallon tank
80 lbs LR
60 lbs LS
various corals
Fish:
1 Black Volitan Lionfish
1 Tiger Moray EEL
1 yellow tail Wrasse
1 Koran Angel
1 ?? unknown fish (cant think of it now) it is 4 am
1 Green Brittle Starfish
Let me know what you think (be nice) this is my first Coral Tank

Just set it up about 6 months ago, Started adding corals and New lighting last month!
Just added a Current 1/4 HP Chiller also

Also, If anyone has anything out there that Might look good in my tank or has and sugestions, please let me know!

i know what would look good bt i would do it when tank is over 8months-year at least.
a puffa and maybe a type hawke fish too..
also that fish you cant think of is a anthias (i think i spelt that right and got it right)

Darren,
It is a rather pretty tank and the fish look healthy.

I think it would be even better if you varied the height of the rock, as the level of the rocks from side to side seems the same to my old eyes. Try having some of the rocks a little higher and some of the rocks a little lower. Also try getting some space between the rocks so the fish have places to swim through and hide in. Have some of the rock more forward towards the front of the tank.
You can also get some corals that help create the effect of height or with a color that brings your eyes to different points in the tank.
But it is a very nice aquarium and my suggestions are only given as you asked for them. It is yours and it should please you most of all.

Thanks, I was actually thinking about getting some more rock for the middle of the tank and getting some coloful corals also, thanks for the reply, you made my mind up for me

I've took your advice on my tank and made it look better and bigger but have a big open swim space on the right of my tank.
when i say big about a forarms length (i have a big tank) but have raised the height and lowerd and moved others to random it and i like it so i just thought i would say thank you from me. sorry darren for hijacking this thread mate

also darren do you have kids? if so try making LR with them saves money but you wont be able to add for about 6-8weeks minamum theres a thread some where on makin it. or even if you don't just try making some you'll have fun
me and my boy are making some tommorro.

Not a problem at all, No I have no kids yet, Just got divorced, so I am out on my own. And loving life right now..

Wow, the new dragon wrasse is very cool! Will the tiger eel eat him? (Sorry, I only have community fish and no experience with eels.)
