my ABSOLUTE last garlic question

now I got some garlic, broke off a clove chopped it up and soaked about a pinch of it in a glass with tank water and half a cube of frozen angle formula.
QUESTION do I take the chopped garlic out of the glass or do I feed the frozen food w/ the garlic mixed together
I guess I need a vivid step by step bonehead picture
this is just a new feeding idea for me and I don't want to screw it up
thank you for your understanding and patience

LOL, don't worry about it, we were all there once! Try NOT to put pieces of garlic in the tank. I have found the easiest (and cheapest) way to supplement garlic is to buy those big jars of chopped garlic (in water) at the supermarket. Be sure NOT to buy one packed in oil. They come with lots and lots of wonderful rich garlic water, you can just pour a little into the cup you prepare their food in and let it soak in. When you deplete the water in there, add your own, and over a week or so the garlic in the jar will make your regular water good and garlicy(SP) all over again. It doesn't hurt to make a lasagna for yourself in the middle...just to make more room in the jar for water! With your current cloves...remove the garlic pieces from the water...and soak the cloves you have in a closed jar of water for the next few day's feeding. It will make the water into a perfect supplement.

When I fed my tangs garlic to battle an ich breakout, I thawed 2 cubes of mysis shrimp, chopped up 1 clove of garlic very fine, and mixed it up with the thawed shrimp. I let the garlic and shrimp mix soak for awhile, and then refroze it in the plastic tray that the mysis shrimp came out of. The next day I dropped in a cube of the "new" food, and the shrimp at it up garlic and all. I fed them this for about four days, and the ich was completely gone.

Either method seems to be effective...personally I soak my garlic clove in one container then pour the water into another that has my food. I've never actually fed the garlic itself just the water it was soaked in...mixed with the days menu.
