So...my anemone is on the move! I got it from someone about 4 weeks ago and now it's decided it didn't like where it was and is moving right as I speak. Anything I should be watching out for (besides it toppling over a rock or something like that...)

dont let it crawl oevr your corals. be prepared to move the corals as he moves along.
if you have a very well established reef with tons of corals be prepared to do this until he picks a spot.
you can try to box it in with rocks and such but for the most part it will go where it ever the heck it wants to until its happy

As I left for work he was still moving around his rock and I hoped that when I came back home he'd still be around! To my surprise...he settled right back where he left from. I guess he just needed to stretch his leg. Or perhaps he'll try again tomorrow... What a weirdo!

There is no reason to move your corals unless he setles in a spot right next to a coral for any prolonged period of time. Coral will recess until it has gone by. It is the long term exposure that will kill a coral. My anemones have moved from time to time, rolling all over the corals, they simply recede then open up again.
If you own an anemone, that is a risk you should be willing to take that it might find a home in the middle of some shrooms. You willl have to move them if he stays. You should have all powerheads and strong intakes covered with a sponge as that seems to be number 1 cause of anemone death next to it being in a new tank or bad parameters.

He's still in the old place today... Stay tuned. I have a 250W 14000K MH pendant (in a 29G tank.)
