this is the first time it's happened so i'm not sure if the new one looks healthy, it won't eat like the other one when feed.

The stronger the light the more regular the split, An RBTA under 400w MH usally splits once a month. If your lucky maybe every other or so.

The time varies greatly from anemone to anemone (usually just BTA's). The splits can't be predicted accurately. And it would be less than 1 time month for the most part.

I have mine under t5 lighting 2 blues and 2 whites, i split over the weekend. the smaller one is getting bigger now. maybe by tommorrow i can start feeding it. it feels good to see an animal reproduce in the tank besides corals. i'm off to buy a few rose bubbletips this coming weekend. All i've ever feed it was shrimp from the grocery store.

Just be careful when buying them, there is two different types the natural ones and the ones they force split. The natural are real expensive and have full bubble tips, and the others look like there bleached but that's how they are. I'm not 100% positive on all that, that's just what I heard from a LFS just today and I know nobody around here has got a great trust for them.
