My Aquarium!

The aquarium itself (meaning the inside of the glass part) isn't the greatest for I need a chiller to be able to stock coral, but I'm proud of the stand I built (especially the design I did for the doors)!
PS - I also built the cat perch that's to the left of the tank, and as you can see... it's the cat's fav spot!

It's a 180, and the temp is around 82-84 degrees. DEFINITELY need a chiller! Leathers and mushrooms are fine, but nothing else.

82-84 really isnt that bad. I bet if you put a small fan in each side of th canopy, have one blowing into the canopy and one blowing air out to get some cross ventilation going you wont need a chiller. Thats what I have on my 125 and the canopy is a closed back. 2 250w MH bulbs. no chiller. tank stays at 78-80

How many times do you need to top-off because of the fans (increased evaporation)?

i dont think the fans increase evaporation. i top off with about 1-1.5 gallons a day

The cabinet is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! It is different than most cabinets and very artistic. You should be very proud of your work.
Love the "catfish" too . . . .
