my batfish just ate three of my shrimps!!!!!!

yesterday my favorite fish (batfish) ate my shrimps and he has blue gills i dont know what to do and im very confused can any of you guys help me out!!!!

And this surprises you because????

Batfish are not invertebrate safe, it was just a matter of time.

really i never knew they were not reef safe thank you so much but what about the blue gills i spent 200$ on this fish and would be a shame if he were to die

Blue gills huh? Do you have a picture? Is his behavior normal otherwise? Breathing ok?

i will try to post a pic if i can get ahold of a camera at work but in all my years of a marine biologist ive never seen anything like this, but i think his gills are swollen im afraid to look at it closer b/c it might put to much stress on it. i hope he didn't get sick by eating those shrimps they were pretty small and i didn't see anything wrong with it

post this in the disease section to get better answers about the blue gills...sorry to hear about your shrimp but it was just a matter of time with that combination...

i just put him in diseases and i hope i can get a response today before he kicks the buxket or in this case the toilet bowl
