my big cleaning snails only come out at night?,hmmmm

i have ones the size of golf balls, they only come out when the lights are off to clean. does this sound right?they do a great job by the way!!!!!!!!i think the lil ones are a waste of money.. :thinking:

Mine just hang out in the same place during the day. When the lights go off, and only the actinics are on they get more active. Then when the lights are completely off they go all over the place.

Mexican Turbo Snails. Mine are out day and night too, just more active at night.

Yup Mexican turbos. Mine is all over after the lights are out. All they do is eat and poop.

Mine moves around alittlewhen the lights on, but when the light goes off he's all over the place. And like snipe said when mine poops he poops.

They are only suppose to come out at night. Do you eally want to look at your tank and have that big I wont say what it looks like staring at you. Thankfully mine sleep all day like they should.

I bought one almost a week ago and I haven't seen him since the day I put him in. He was going to town on my glass when I put him in, but no sight of him since. I'm gonna go get a few more of them soon!

Dont get too many or else there wont be enough food for them to survive. 1 per 20 gallons is sufficient.
