My black moor is turning sliver and tail shredding

Hi I've had my black moor in my tank for 7 months with no problems I've recently added 2 paradise fish and within 24 hours he had started to turn silver from his eyes and his body, his tail seems shredded too, I've started treatment for fin rot and been doin 25% water change to my back up tank that I've put him in. Could this have anything to do withte paradise fish and is there any other treatments I could use to help him, thank you

This is a saltwater fish forum. I'm sure your questions would get more responses in a freshwater fish forum. Best of luck!
You should try a saltwater tank sometime!

This is the off subject section. Pimafix and Melafix are awesome for wounds and bacterial infections. Every LFS I've been to has it. Follow the dosing pretty closely, as I put my FW fish to sleep one time over-dosing Melafix. They all survived, but it was scary.

I buy this at Walmart

IMO It works better then melafix or the pimafix....and has no odor......I have had (and still do) FW tanks for many years.....and this stuff has never failed me

Never used it. But I am also down to 1-29g FW tank now also. My beautiful Jack Dempsey pair just died-the female about 3 months after the male. They were both 9 y/o so it was probably just old age. Now I have 1-10" pleco but I can't add any other small fish because the pleco kills the hell out of anything under 4".

That's the problem when the fish get that big.....you can't add new fish.....It's very hard to find them that big.....+ who wants to buy a fish already grown.
I only have 2 cichlids in the 46G, and can't add another cause they kill them :(
The 55G fish are big and small....and don't bother anything I add.....I just don't need any more in there....LOL...Since I have all the SW tanks, my FW get neglected :(
