My blue madrin finally came out

It took 2 months for my mandarin to recover from being bullied by my 6 line reef wrasse. I traded the 6 line for some coral frags.

Moby is about 2.5 inches at most. I have had him since the beginning that would make he almost 2 years old.
I've been thinking about getting him a mate, the amphipods and cocopods are a getting a little out of hand. They have started setting up small "villages" around some of the rock frags on the sand bed.

Awesome fish!
My favorite by far! I LOVE mine. His name is Drago! By far to me the most awesome fish. Mine blows little tuffs of sand out his head. It looks pretty cool, kinda like smoke coming out his ears. You ever seen you'rs do that? Mine does it all the time.

Mine does that too. I think it's filtered fauna, but does look like smoke.

I wish mine wasn't so stuck up so I could get a damn picture of it. Anytime it's out and sees anyone, runs well, swims right back into the rocks. He's so stuck up, I don't get it!!

Moby has quite the little stuck up manor. When I first purchase him he would put a stance for me that said "you looking at me!" "This is MY rock" and MY tank" he would continue to puff out and put his pectoral fin as high and straight and he could and continue the stare down contest until I got too close for comforort and then he would dart back into the rocks. He was king until that 6 line arrived.
He vanished. I wasn't to concerned until I saw the 6 line chewing on Nemo and Chloe. That signed his/her eviction notice.
I just glad to see Moby getting his courage back. I'm sure in another month he'll be back to his old in the face self....especially if I get him a girlfriend.
I've tried to keep my eyes open, but I have only found 1 and she was twice the size of Moby. Any ideas of where to go to get a female mandrin??

Thanks all

I really like mine, he seems to be a ham for the camera. Everytime I want to take a picture of the other fish, there he is. I have had him for about 3 weeks now. I have a very seasoned tank, over a year, with some rock over 3 years. I periodically supplement the tank with live copepods just to be sure that he has enough to eat. He was pretty skinny when I got him, now he seems to be a lot plumper!! :jumping:
