just sharing, this is a bad pic of one of my cephlopods.
Euprymna scolopes
(not my pic)
They are less then 2" long and have protiens that emit light.
also a seperate geinus from octos and squid
I've breed them before, but not recently.
they live about 9 months.

Hes not a cuttle or a squid, they have there own geinus, but are still a cephalapod (sp?)
They eat live shrimp
I catch both here
which is where i grew up.
I also caught my fuzzy lion, flame angle and numerous other critters here

Its Kaneohe bay, at my parents house
The island on the right is Coconut island research facility for University of hawaii.
its hard to see, but where the water turns blue there is a 30 foot verticle cliff thats all coral heads.
I spent half my life on that dock growing up.

i walk the dock at night. or walk the sand near the reef if the tides low enough.
The winds gotta be still or from the south.
with a flash lite and a net you cna catch just about anything.....one i even netted a small hammer head. i had been cathing goat fish for bait and the shark smelled the fish and came around to investigate. my girl friend freaked out, and wouldnt let me put it back until she got out.
great snorkling, fishing etc.
