Well, I've only got 1x54w actinic, 1x54w 10k, and 2x28w actinic t5s on there. I suppose that could be it though. Anyone else have any ideas?

first things first....i would find out your water parameters using trustworthy test kits

I don't know how trustworthy my Red Sea kit is (nitrates have always seemed to read a bit high, as in NEVER 0), but here are my parameters the night I took those pictures:
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 5
ph 8.0
Temp 81
Salinity 1.021
I think I'm going to try moving it down to the sandbed, and possibly into a shadier area.

has it ever landed in the sand, or has sand ever landed on top of it?
i had a huge favites and it fell over once. was face down in the sand for no more than a minute. it never recovered after that.

It did get knocked off it's ledge by a hermit once and landed upside down on the sandbed. It spent several hours (at least) like that.
Did yours die, or did it just lose it's coloration?

Your salinity is very low. I would try to get it up to 1.024-1.026. I am not sure if that would cause your favites to bleach, but it is not good for the long term health of any of your corals.

Take it out of the light completely. I have a brain that is under an overhang and only gets what bounces of the sand bed. It look better now then ever and it was one of my first pieces I ever bought.

brains do not need a massive amount of light, try putting it down on the sandbed, but not out of light totally. raise your salinity up for sure.hope that helps.

Same thing happened to me when I changed lights.
Moved my red brain to another location and started dosing with phyrotoplankton.
It all has to do with proper location too. I had mine directly under a MH and it didn't like it too well.
It also just may have expelled the algea out of it as it is stressed.
Mine was pretty pale for about 2 weeks.
