my BTA won't stop hiding

i purchased a BTA over a week ago. when i got him i set hit in a spot where there wasn't too much current. it ended up going back behind all the rockwork and hasn't come out yet. it looked like it was going to come up the other day. then a few hours later i went to check and it had gone back behind the rocks again. i don't think my clowns even know it's there yet. is there something that will coax it to come out? or should i just wait it out?

I've had the same problem and you just have to wait it out. If it doesn't come out after a while, try adjusting the flow.

You need to be able to see it. If it dies it will decompose quickly, and seeing as though there are no inverts that eat dead anemones it can elevate amonia levels quickly in your tank. If you can see it and it has good color and looks inflated try feeding it a very small piece of clam or shrimp. I agree they can hide for a while but being able to see it is key IMO.
