my bubble tip split

i woke up this morning and found that my bubble tip is now two bubble tips, how does this happen and will it happen again?

It happens quit often, don't be alarmed.
Be prepared, I may split again, and again. I know a guy, his has split 5 times since last summer.

yeah i thought it was pretty neat, i have heard of them splitting in a post here at the site. i have only had my tank going for only 3 1/2 months now.

they split for 2 reasons: normal reproduction or being stressed. hopefully its the first
