My cleaner shrimp died.

I know it's stupid to cry, but I did. (And yes I'm sure it's not a molt).
He was my favorite, I named him Francois, he would always swim around rather than hang upside down. I'm pretty sure he died because of the massive water temp. change, there's been so many power outages here because of the wildfires.

I'm very sorry for your loss. I've had a cleaner shrimp for over 6 months and I too would be very sad if it died.

Thanks. I had mine for five months. He would love to show off when I put my face to the glass.

They are sensitive to temp changes, but one that's been in that long can usually adjust, unless it was drastic. What were the changes, and time frame?

It was around 80 three days ago, then shot up to 87 when the power went out the first time. We don't have a chiller, I was putting in frozen water bottles.
