This is not about you bill, its about the poster who put corals in his 16 day old tank.

My tank cycled in 10 days, thats not the issue here, you shouldn't put corals in such a new setup, water is just not stable for them that soon, it takes awhile for everything to settle in. Your post might give others the impression that what you did is ok cause it worked for you, but its to soon to say it has, wait afew months, and let us know how things are going then. Hopefully you will be lucky and your water stays stable, to risky imo.

still Bill if you have been researching and reading than you would know that you need certain equipment on hand to do proper water test. How many fish have you lost all together? :notsure:

yeah i know but im not too far into the process where i cant fix it so ill go and get one not a problem. Like i said i have reasearched but not as much on corals and i havnet looked at brands so i asked for an opinion so sorry for the confusion

I would get a good test kit as mentioned above thats the next thing you NEED to purchase so when you have a problem you start a new post with your parameters and then this is whats going on it helps alot just because everything seems to be inline doesnt meen they always are.
O yeah dont go cheao on the test kits get a good test kit that will benifit you and your critters.
