have you recently changed your lighting or replaced bulbs?? Coralline can get burnt by a sudden increase in lighting.

also, is it all the way to the bottom? If you did a big water change and the corraline dries out before you get new water in it will turn white. (usually takes a while for that to happen tho)

Thanks guys for the direction. I will give the water a quick check tonight. I recently did a water change and pretty much all things are looking good.

It is time for new bulbs also.

I did add some new corals over the past few weeks.
I tested the water and this is what I came up with:
CA 350
Alk 10
SG 1.025
PH 8.3
Mag 1300
Trates 2
Trites 0
Amm 0

My coraline algae starts to turn white when my CA drops to 350. When I see it happen I quickly up the Calcium to 425 and the coraline springs back in a week or so.

What do you use to increase the Calcium? I recently rearranged some LR and I have a 4" square area of white coraline algae now. I don't know why it happened. The piece was out of my tank for no more than 5 minutes. I haven't tested for CA but would like to know which product increases it.
Thanks, Steve
