well its day 7 and here are my readings
ammonia 0.25
ph 8.3
nitrite 5.0
nitrate 60
i did a 20% water change yesterday so if anyone has any though or suggestion let me know.
Also i am starting to get brown algea on my rocks and sand bed, any thoughs on that.
Cycle is not over yet - doNOT put in a clean up crew yet. Ammonia must be at 0, Nitrites at 0 and Nitrates below 20. When the first two hit zero you can do a water change to get rid of some of the Nitrates. Then give it a couple of weeks to make sure it is becoming stable before you add any crew or livestock.
Agreed, don't put a CUC in yet, you'll just end up killing most of them. Give it some time and let the Ammonia and Nitrite 0 out. Do a water change, watch the levels and make sure they don't move. Do some ghost feeding and check again.
