If you are going to keep the chemipure in chamber 2, you might want to lose the drip tray. This way you can make a tray to hold the bag of chemipure in the water flow as it spills from chamber 1 into 2. Most of your water should pass through it then. With the drip try in place, your water will distribute across the entire chamber and you will have less contact with the chemipure.
Just my thought on it
Well i am thinking about removing the sponge in C3 and replacing it with a bag of chemipure on some advice from a friend should i do purigen too or will the chemi cheato and lr/ls be enough?
I posted a full write up (with pics) on my reef society website, please feel free to take a look. http://www.tidewater-reefers.org/vb/...1254#post21254
Now to get some cheato!
Just building my refugium from all your plans for my BC29 - screen gluing is not easy but I will finish it today and install. After i get this one going I am going to see if I can make one for my 12 nanocube.
Cheers,
Pax

With text in the description. It's been working well over the past months and nitrates lowered. Original gracilaria still growing and I added some Caleurpa from excess in my tank.
