My dad found a cool dog.

My dad went walking and found this dog. Her name is Casie. There are dog tags and we called the owner up and left a message. But anyways, here are a few pictures of her. Shes VERY nice. Just thought I'd share.

I hope you get in touch with the owner....I'd be heartbroken if I lost any of my babies

if the ribs are not visable but you can feel them, the dog is healthy.

That's the dog in the pic lol. We called up the owner and are waiting for them to call back.

Still no word back. My dad found him at 7:30 AM and we gave the owner a call at 8:30AM.

Maybe they're out of town?

If the dog is that clean and of good weight with tags I would definitely think they'd want their dog back. If you can hold out...I'd wait a few days. My parents had a dog that would escape every time they went out of town for anything.

Hopefully you are able to locate the owner as well.

It might not be a bad idea to be documenting the time/date, number called, and what was said on these calls, and if possible, even recording the calls themselves.
It may put you in a better position if you guys give up, keep the dog, then the owner shows up at some time in the future and demands her back.
Just a thought...

The dog has a Dog License so I can't keep it anyways. But, I looked up the phone number in the phone book and found the address, went over but no one was home. The guy that lives there is in the army. Soooo.... I guess we will keep her until the owner gets home. She is very healthy and clean. She is like the nicest dog I've ever seen. LOL
