Actually yes but it's not brand new.It was a established tank i bought and moved basically.It has went through a mini cycle but waiting to make sure thats all it does.Before buying anything else!The crabs i've had for 3 months and thats why i even have this aquarium.The 3 crabs and 1 damsel are all i have.Before you even start judging me!!

B-Baby80, please stop thinking that people are judging you. You will hear contructive criticism here. I trust that you did not come here for everyone to say that you are doing the right thing. You can tell yourself that. We are all here to help. Damsels don't normaly hide. This is not "cute" behavior. What are you water readings right now for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, ph, kh, sg, and temp? These are very important numbers. You just added rock? Was it cured?

He hid for 1 day in a hole in my LR.He's out now but staying mid way to the top.I guess if their were 2 hermit crabs the size of lemons i might be scared too.Since he is all alone.I dropped some flakes in earlier and he came out and ate.So i think he is o.k.Oh and yes the LR was cured.
I took the statement from the PP as being like. " OMG you put a fish in your new tank OMG!!! " It's not that i think everyone is flaming me.I just know a negative remark when i read one.
Which i've seen alot of judging about things like that around here.I'm not dumb and i'm not going to spend all this money to have my tank crash in a week.I've spent close to $400 in the last week.I know some people may have dispensable income to throw away.Just because they got to anxious and over zelous but i don't.
The only reason i posted it.was because i see how everyone talks about how their devils and mine hasn't been "YET".Of course he is really small and their are giant crabs in their.Although they haven't paid him any mind.

Ok, B-Baby80, you have your guard up. Renagaw is on the same page with me. He is a fellow hobbiest. Stop taking every comment personally. It is not. He had every right to ask that question. You just posted about your fish the other day. He was asking a simple question. You will get a ton of questions asked, much as I did. If you post a statement or ask a question without giving details then WE have to ask questions to find out what is gong on with your tank.

LOL !!! Yep - that's your key word, "YET" ... Some folks do like damsels, most don't. It all depends on what fish you have in with the damsel. Tangs, Triggers, Marron Clownfish, etc ... any fish that's aggressive as them. Good luck to you.

A thick skin and a sense of humor make this forum a lot more fun and productive! Please let us know if the damsel returns to acting "normal: and if you decide to keep him. I'd like to start a pool on how long it is before we see a post asking for ways to get him out. $5 a square, winner takes all.
