My dilemma (not bad) :(

It's nothing major, but I don't know what I want to do. I won a pair of clownfish. The female is a Darwin and the male is a platinum. Now, here is the dilemma. What should I do with my Occellaris pair. They have been in the tank for over 2 years and I have had the female almost 3 years. These were my very first saltwater fish. They have also been exhibiting breeding behavior. I am almost tempted to put the new clowns in the seahorse tank, but I know that won't work.

I would trade or sell the fish I can't, or don't want to keep, and get something that can meld with the rest of my critters. Personally, ...I would stay with the ones I have had but that's just me.

LOL....good luck catching them if you decide to get rid of them.....Just for that reason I'd keep them HAHA plus, if they were your first...well that would be reason #2

They will let me catch them. I am thinking of giving my old clowns to a victim of Sandy in my reef club.
I have always wanted a pair of clowns that were not your typical clowns, but I did not want to pay the $$.

I found a home for my clowns. It looks like they will be leaving me tomorrow. It's kinda bittersweet.

I would have kept your Ocellaris pair... they are starting to become rare in this hobby. Perhaps more rare then some of these designer fish. But, that's just me.
I'm glad you got it all taken care of and that everything has worked out and you had an opportunity to help out a fellow aquarist!

My clowns have been rehomed. The tank looks so empty. I should hopefully be getting the new clowns Wednesday morning.
