my diy 30g wet dry....

hey everyone...how does this look? its a 30 g tank with 1 tupperware container that will hold filter floss and then i drilled holes in that container where the water will drip down into the bio balls. then i kinda shattered the bottom of that container because when i tried to cut it it just broke. i zip tied 2 peices of egg crate to the bottom of both sides of the container that holds the bio balls. I am going to need to make a stand tomorrow out of pvc that will hold up the containers. this is going on a 90g tank.
thoughts? opinions? ideas?

i was thinking about cutting a hole in the top of the container and just stick the hose in there. and i will probably stick alot more prefilter in there.
