My DIY see through tank stand (in the works)

Hi,
Started on my see throurh tank stand this weekend. I was going to go with oak stained but I ran across some paneling that matched my wallpaper and my wife thought it would bring my tank out more... I still have loads of painting and trimwork to do, there will be trim at the bottom and top of the tank so that you don't see the plastic molding of the tank. I'm going out of town for two weeks so I woun't beable to update it for a while but here you go. The rock work I plan on making a mountain going up in the center so the fish can swim around the reef.
PS: its for a 90g long reef.

he hood needs more coats of bright white inside along with my holes for the cooling fans. It will have 2X250w MH with 2 40w actincs

Forgot to add deminsions 5' 6" long by the width of my tank which is 18 5/8" the height is exactly 74". Once I have it completely level with the tank on it I plan on using big screws to help and stop any rocking that it may do.

yeah me too if i can build id have the nicest tank!!!
looks nice what are the dimensions of a 90 long?
btw tht stands color looks liek a marble/granite color

Man I wish I wasn't going out of town for two weeks, I would have the tank along with the final trimming on tonight

But I want to make sure everything is good after I finish it up. I would hate to have a problem and not be home to take care of it.
This is where the tank is at the moment..

:jumping: I think its all done. Please tell me how you think my rockwork and coral placement looks, I'm still playing with it. Everything seems to be taking the movement fairly ok. My corals are still semi closed.

Wonderful set-up. Most people that do the see through stand end up with ugly cords etc. being visible. This is well thought out and the equipment does not detract from the tank.
