My DIY stand

Hey, just wanted to show everybody my stand
Still needs poly but you can see more or less what it's like. The tank's a 55.

Looks nice! One word of advice though, move the phone! I had mine, like yours, on a stand next to my 90g. After about 9 months, it stopped working like it used too. An occasional splash, a bit of salt creep, etc. etc.

How tall is the stand? From this angle it looks like it could be pretty top heavy once the tank is filled.
You might want to think about bolting the stand to the wall to avoid any chance that it could tip over.

42 "; only 6" taller than the original (factory built) stand. That's definitely a good suggestion though, that I will look into. 6" could well be enough to make for an unpleasant situation
