do it the old fahion way, get a baseball bat. my dad grew up in the new york city, gramercy park and there were 3 dogs that were killing the cats in the area and one day it killed my dads cat and him and his friends went over with a bat and killed the three dogs on the spot nothing was done and the law congradulated him and his friend, those are the old days though when everyone wasnt sue happy, we are playing the blame game everyday

u know what puzzles me if they are considered possesions then why can we not do with them what we please, like starve them, hit them and in some cases kill them, even though i would never ever do this but what about the sick people out there that do this and get put away for years so they should, but my point is why can he not get money for pain and suffrage?

I use to have a pitbull.. you gotta have a pet licenses and a rabies vac tag on them.. my pits gone but i still got his tags on my key chain.. the neigbors complained cuz my dog gets off his choke chain and keeps hoppin the fence prettty tall fence.. pitbulls can be very harmless..gotta have one to know.. dogs arent born dangerous.. they are taught that... dogs get vicious when you feed them raw meat.. you should go and get the most expensive lawyer... sue for lawyer fees, work fees, dog fees, all other fees you can think of.. itll get to them after they pay a couple grand..youll be for sure to win if those dogs dont have two tags on them.. do it quick! you might save a life!
oh yeh.. in my neighborhood.. if your to much trouble you could get kicked out

Caomt, cute pitt ) I forgot about the tags - good idea!!
Gordruls, see if you can get a good look at those dogs - get binoculars or something. If they (at least the pitt) don't have two tags on their collars, you can call the cops and the family will be issued a citation (could be counted as their third strike!!), and fined $500.00 a day 'till they get the dogs vaccination tags.

Well first off, I am truly very, very sorry for your loss. I know how it feels to lose a pet, though I have never had a dog mauled by another dog. I am glad to see that no one is blaming pitbulls, although a pitbull was part of this incident. Those owners are VERY irresponsible, and something needs to be done. I truly believe this would make an excellent civil suit. I, however, have a very friendly pit, named Annie, and she is fine with cats. In fact, she is afraid of one of our cats. LOL!! It is truly how the owners raise them, it isnt the dogs fault. When I was younger, I was attacked by a GOLDEN RETRIEVER (yes, what most people think of as worlds best pet). So you cannot blame it on just certain breeds such as german shepards, rottweilers, dobermans, pitbulls, etc. That leads to BSL (breed specific legislation) and if that happens, I believe ALL breeds of dogs should be outlawed, because it is so unfair. And half the time when newspapers say it was a "pitbull" it was really a lab, but they dont write that, because it wouldnt catch people's attention. So, back to the point, try to make a civil suit against these people...but please do not request BSL, it is very unfair, and doesnt do ANYTHING. Once again, I am VERY VERY VERY sorry for your loss.

Police said...the Pit had the most blood on him but it was the Shepherd who bit the little girl and it was the Shepherd who was leading the group when they came into the garage. When I got to my Dog all of them were tearing him up. I don't blame any breed. Here in Georgia every other person owns a Bull Dog or Pit.

even so, you should never go near a dog you don't know. My hubby always tries to pet dogs, like in parking lots when the dog is in the car waiting for it's owner to come back, he'll stick his fingers in the window slots... i'm like you idiot!!! never touch a dog you don't know... precicely because you don't know it!

a few weeks ago I was pumping gas and I happen to look up and see a pit bull running straight for me, now I am not afraid of dogs and I 100% agree it is all in how they are rasied but even so all I could think as this dog was running at me (but I would have thought the same thing no matter what breed it was) that the dog was going to kill me. So I just stand there because there was nothing I could do it happened so fast and the dog gets closer and BLAMO! I am attacked with kisses! I was like ummmm okay! This dog had run across 4 lanes of traffic to give me kisses. The owners where standing on the other side of the road yelling for me to hold the dog for them but the doggie heard them and then ran back to them across 4 lanes again, which I really thought the dog was going to get hit by a car but it didn't. So apperently to pit bulls I am worth running across a highway to give kisses
very sweet doggies

lmao, that's great! I love dogs so much, and it's the worst thing when people mistreat them!

First see if you have any leash laws in your area and if you do go from there$$$$$
