My domino & Anemone!

hi, i have the same problem with my domino and my carpet anemone, i have heard that the clowns nd the damsels are from the same family
i was amazed i thought my anemone would have just sucked him up and squashed it [damsel] like it did with my other fish. lOl
trust mee. they look very cute at the start but as they get older and more rough, oOoOoooO they get on ur nerves, it kills all my new fish.

I know exactly what you mean about them killing new fish,i have a 3 stripe in the tank also that is pretty big and if i add anything new whether it is a fish or invert or even decor he goes nuts and starts hitting it.I am getting my 190 up and running right now and there will not be any in that tank at all.

Where was this thread last night? I hate these little guys. I told my LFS owner to stop selling them. I absolutely HATE them. I put two of them in prison in my fuge and then moved one out with a piece of LR. He kept attacking my Niger Trigger.(he is an orphan looking for a home) Really ticked me off. Dont ever buy them. Evil little guys..

I understand your feelings,but they are quite amuseing at times.I wouldn't mix them with any peaceful fish i wanted to keep at all,my big 3-stripe hates everything,i can add a new frag of some sort and he will hit and bump it all around the tank if i don't put it well lodged in place in my rock work.

We have 6, well 5 now, little 3 striped damsels. They are so much fun! WE are only using them to cycle our tank and have to take them back to the lfs in a week. But, I am going to miss them. They are so active and crazy! What a riot to watch. But, I think they would terrorize anything new we tried to add, so they're going to have to leave.

They start to fade to brown when they get bigger but lots of personality. Personaly mine is mean but you can tell it really irritates him when all the other fish ignore him lol.
And yes damsles, clowns and chromis are all the same family of fish but having a damsle host something is more unlikely that it would be as a clown would "clowns dont only host anemones they will host any coral and I have seen them host vegie clips and overflows also lol". As you see it isnt impossible just uncommon.
