My dwarf seahorses

I was asked a few weeks ago to post some pictures and I have been snapping pictures like crazy and was finally able to come up with a few that were reasonably clear.
My breeding tanks are heavily planted and these guys are pretty small so my camera wants to focus on everything but them. Even the bbs was making my pictures wonky.
Kind of funny, I would be trying to take a picture of one only to have the camera zoom in on one that was closer that I didn't see. If you look carefully, almost every picture has many more than first meets the eye.

In this tank, 24, 12 mixed color pairs. I'm working on colors primarily at this point and I have yellow males in with green or common females. There is one normie male that slipped through somehow but I admire his spunk so he stays. I usually sell all my normal males as a general rule.

Teresa, ironically, our babies are almost the same size at birth. I was so shocked the first time I saw normal horse fry.

HAHA, I bet you could set up a nice little 5 gal hex for these little guys. I caught a couple while on a field trip with my daughter last yr. We were on Pine Island at the mud flats. Also caught some dwarf pipes. Very cute, and all were released back to the wild.

LOL I might do that some time in the future. I can just imagine The Wife's response if she saw me setting up another tank NOW. As it is she wasn't too thrilled about the hospital tank for the flasher wrasse....

Ha, it's not the tanks, it's the bubble, bubble, bubble of the brine shrimp hatcheries. Funny, I have tanks throughout my house, yet it's the shrimp that bother me, lol.
