My emerald crab just died

I don't know why. Had him for about 3 months

Is their any other predators in your tank that could kill it?
Is all your water conditions good?
And is it the "SHED" of the crab because crabs molt which is the grow a new shell and shed the other like a snake it grows bigger and sheds skin

His body is in one piece. No missing parts. I haven't checked the water yet(will check in about five minutes).I'm pretty sure he has not molted, though I hope he did.

I thought mine had dies also because the body was in 1 part and it looked like just another crab. But after I flushed the dead "one" I noticed that the crab was still in my tank. Their molts are very had to distinguish from the live crab, unlike cleaner shrimp.

I tell if mind has molted I look for the eyes. The molt just has empty sockets. This only works if you find it early though. It's hard to tell just by glacing.
