Get that sucker outa the trash!! Just buy new bulbs and rewire it yourself!! Even if you have to get a different ballast. Dude, that's salvageable!!
Send it to me, I'll play with it!!
But I for one appreciate the heads up. I like being forwarned about companies I have never dealt with...
EDIT... Have you seen their "policy"?? They will exchange it for you.

I am so sorry, but I had to laugh. You should have realized that odessa is garbage. You can find their products dirt cheap on a famous action site. know taking one for the team was the garbage wave maker.
which i read some other reviews on it, where the person actually got it working. after several calls to the company and still thought that is bearly made motion.

I'm having a terrible day. I ordered some coral today, so I'm hoping that it will brighten my day tomorrow.
Yeah tizzo, I'll take it out, however, It freak me out when the thing starting smoking. I noticed that they used masking tape to conceal some exposed wire. I was actually lucky, I could of been at work and this thing would of started smokin. The ballast should be good.
I made another blunder, my plan was to replace the cheap bulbs with "current lamps", bulbs but oddessa used smaller 54 watt bulbs; is that possible %

Maybe I'm bad lucky. On my pfo 400 watt HQI dual ballast, both of on/off switches got stuck on the off position. PFO sent new ones though, I can't complain about PFO now. lol

I bought two 48" "current bulbs" and they were two long. oydessea t-5 version is 46". I don't want to use oydessea bulb; you saw how the first shipment of bulbs went. Someone else has to make 46" bulbs.
