My experience with Aqua traders Odyessa t5 hood

Did the fixture arrive in that condition? I may be a bit confused here but UPS or OOPs as we call them around here may be more responsible for these lights condition
I received some LED moonlighting from the site in question and noticed when tracking the package using UPS ground that there where three different load/unload points if you count the one local to get from west coast to east. This gives a lot of opportunity for damage.

Imagine that, I buy a 48" t-5 hood, and 48" t-5 don't fit the hood. I had to unscrew the bulb caps and take out the fan so the bulbs would fit. That is a sham!
The first pictures shows the box it was shipped in. Other online venders usually double box things like that with popcorn or air pockets.
The fixture does work. But if I buy a 48" fixture please send a 48" fixture not a 43" fixture. The whole unit is not even 48" but 47".
Aqua-traders buy at your own risk!!!

Thanks fishamajig.
I was able to retro fit the 48" bulbs now. It is not pretty because the bulbs are sort of floating around. It is a nice looking fixture though. Reminds me of the coralife product. My only wish is that it would nicely hold 48" bulbs.
I have on top of my tank now, and it is working nicely so far. I got a new camera, so I'll snap a few tonight.
On our reef journey, the easiest path is not always the best path.

fishamajig or Tizzo do you know anything I can use to hold the bulbs in place? Thanks in advance again.
