My yellow gorg isnt open quite as often but I have fragged 1 branch from it and the small one opens fully like the red. In the 2 "full tank" shots above, in the bottom left corner of both, you can see the yellow frag-2 lil sticks- full polyps:D

Sheree, looks great ... remember everyones tank is different what I do works for me but may not work for you, so don't get caught up in the comments. Alot mean well just don't express it very well. Just learn what you can and keep plugging away. they can argue it is a nice looking tank.

Hard to argue with success... beautiful, nice job. Keep in mind that even the harshest critics here have the best intentions. Keep up the good work.

I dissagree with that some on here just do not have a life and are just as@hol#$,

Very nice! I think it is wrong to discourage people as well, none of us are perfect. Everyone in here has made mistakes to get to where they are now. The saltwater hobby is a learning experience and no one knows everything. Everyone in this chat room has learned something from another person that they didn't initally know. You don't NEED MH's corals. PCs and VHOs are fine for Soft Corals. Great looking tank, you deserve all the compliments you receive.

Gorgs arent a lot of trouble to care for. They dont need alot of light..they are "deep sea"..not a whole lotta sun down there:)
Mainly keeping limbs clean of debris and feeding them(every 2 days) phytoplankton with a syringe is all I do. Once in awhile they have some "skin shed" so I hold them by the base and swish it gently at the surface to remove that.
The frags I cut, I stuck in holes in the LR or, just stuck the base in the substrate on tank bottom. They dont attach to rocks like corals do..., so its best (IMO) to stick in a hole firmly and alow it to grow to the rock.
I hope this helps....and thanks everyone!!
