My first Coral!

I just got myself a rock with maybe 25-30 yellow pollops and the LFS told me I have to spot feed them every so often. Is this true? I thought they were filter feeders and would feed off the neutriants in the water. Anyway if this is true what should I be feeding them? thanks!

They will get what they need from the water, watch them they grow fast and can take over.

They will survive without being spot fed as long as their is fish being fed. If you spot feed them with DT's weekly they will probably do better.
